The Havasu Finder

Terms and Conditions

Effective date: August 21, 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of thehavasufinder.com. The Havasu Finder is operated by Weir Canyon Handyman LLC.

By creating an account, submitting a listing, purchasing a service, or otherwise using the website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into an agreement to use paid services or submit listings.

An account is required to publish a listing. You are responsible for providing accurate and current information, protecting your username and password, activity conducted through your account, and promptly notifying us if you believe your account has been used without permission.

Accounts may not be transferred or shared to avoid fees or website restrictions.

Types of Listings

The website may permit users to submit Services Needed, Things for Sale, Things Wanted, Garage Sales, Help Wanted, Service Provider or business listings, and other locally relevant categories made available by the website.

Listings must be truthful, lawful, reasonably complete, and placed in the correct category.

Listing Publication and Moderation

Eligible listings may publish immediately after submission. Immediate publication does not mean that The Havasu Finder has reviewed, verified, approved, or endorsed the listing.

We may review, edit, reclassify, reject, restrict, suspend, or remove any listing or account that violates these Terms; contains false, misleading, unlawful, unsafe, or inappropriate material; appears fraudulent or deceptive; is posted in the wrong category; infringes another person’s rights; creates a security or legal risk; or disrupts the website or harms other users.

Prohibited Content and Conduct

Users may not:

  • Post fraudulent, misleading, or unlawful listings.
  • Impersonate another person or business.
  • Post stolen property or prohibited goods.
  • Use the website for harassment, threats, discrimination, or illegal activity.
  • Upload malware or attempt to interfere with website security.
  • Scrape, harvest, or misuse user information.
  • Use contact information for spam or unrelated marketing.
  • Submit content that violates copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, or other legal rights.

Services Needed Lead Access

Residents may submit eligible Services Needed listings without a posting fee.

A registered service provider may purchase access to the available contact information for a Services Needed lead for $5.

Lead access may be sold to a maximum of three service providers. Purchasing access provides only the contact information made available for that lead. It does not guarantee that the customer will respond, that the job remains available, or that an estimate, appointment, contract, payment, or profit will result.

Purchasing lead access does not make the service provider an employee, agent, or contractor of The Havasu Finder. Service providers are responsible for contacting customers promptly, professionally, and lawfully.

Business Listings

A Service Provider or business directory listing costs $25 for 30 days, unless a different price or duration is clearly displayed before purchase.

Payment does not guarantee customer inquiries, leads, sales, website traffic, or business results. Business owners are responsible for ensuring that their listing information, licenses, insurance, qualifications, contact information, and claims are accurate and current.

Payments and Refunds

Prices are displayed before checkout. Users authorize the applicable charge when completing a purchase.

The $5 lead-access fee and the $25 business-listing fee are normally nonrefundable because access or listing services may begin immediately after purchase.

A refund may be considered if the same charge was processed more than once, a website error prevented delivery of the purchased access or listing service, a refund is required by applicable law, or The Havasu Finder approves an exception in writing.

Dissatisfaction with a lead, failure to receive a response, failure to obtain work, or failure to receive business inquiries does not normally qualify for a refund.

User Due Diligence and Safety

The Havasu Finder does not investigate, endorse, certify, recommend, or guarantee any user, service provider, employer, customer, buyer, seller, product, service, or listing.

Users are responsible for performing their own due diligence before hiring someone, accepting work, purchasing or selling an item, providing access to property, making a payment, or entering into any agreement.

Depending on the transaction, appropriate due diligence may include:

  • Confirming the person’s or business’s identity.
  • Checking licenses, registrations, insurance, bonding, references, reviews, qualifications, and experience.
  • Confirming whether permits or inspections are required.
  • Obtaining written estimates, contracts, warranties, and payment terms.
  • Inspecting products and verifying ownership before purchasing.
  • Avoiding advance payments, unusual payment methods, overpayment requests, and other possible scams.
  • Meeting in a safe location and taking reasonable personal-safety precautions.
  • Consulting an attorney, accountant, licensed contractor, government agency, or other qualified professional when appropriate.

The Havasu Finder does not perform background checks or independently verify the accuracy of listings, credentials, licenses, insurance, references, reviews, identities, or claims unless expressly stated otherwise.

Users assume the risks associated with communicating, meeting, hiring, working for, buying from, selling to, or otherwise dealing with another user. If something appears suspicious, unsafe, unlawful, or misleading, do not proceed and report the matter to The Havasu Finder and, when appropriate, local law enforcement.

User Transactions

The Havasu Finder provides a local listing and information platform. It is not the employer, contractor, customer, buyer, seller, broker, insurer, guarantor, or party to transactions arranged between users.

Users are solely responsible for communicating with one another; evaluating listings and offers; confirming identity, qualifications, licensing, insurance, references, and experience; agreeing on prices, schedules, contracts, warranties, and payment terms; following applicable laws and permit requirements; and protecting themselves from fraud, scams, unsafe conditions, and financial loss.

Content Submitted by Users

You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting content, you give The Havasu Finder permission to store, reproduce, display, format, and distribute that content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote, moderate, and maintain the website and its listings.

You represent that you have the right to submit the content and that it does not violate another person’s rights.

Website Availability

We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any website feature. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or that the website will always be free of errors, security problems, or data loss.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The website, listings, lead information, and related services are provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law.

The Havasu Finder does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of user-submitted information; the identity, honesty, qualifications, licensing, insurance, or performance of a user; the quality, legality, safety, or availability of goods or services; or that any transaction, job, sale, response, or business result will occur.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Havasu Finder and Weir Canyon Handyman LLC will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from website use, user conduct, listings, transactions, purchased leads, or interactions between users.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, or expenses resulting from your unlawful conduct, your listings, your transactions, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person’s rights.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the website when a user violates these Terms, creates a security or legal risk, misuses user information, or repeatedly submits prohibited content.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any legal proceeding concerning these Terms or the website must be brought in an appropriate court serving Mohave County, Arizona, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the website, pricing, or services change. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
